Idaho Car Crash Brought on by Burned Armpit Hair?

A SUV complete of teenagers crashed in Idaho after one of the passengers lit the driver’s armpit hair on fire with a lighter, authorities mentioned Wednesday.

All 5 young individuals in the Ford Bronco have been hurt in the crash Sunday and received health-related treatment, the Ada County Sheriff’s Workplace stated.

2 of the passengers, ages 15 and 16, were thrown from the vehicle, but none of the 5 suffered life-threatening injuries.

The sheriff’s division stated the rollover occurred soon after a 16-year-old boy was goofing off in the front seat and lit 18-year-old Tristian Myers’ armpit hair on fire whilst Myers was driving. The crash happened at about 5:30 a.m. in southeast Boise.

Deputies cited Myers with inattentive driving, while the 16-year-old was cited for interfering with the driver’s safety. The passenger’s name wasn’t released. A 17-year old also was in the front seat but was not cited.

Deputies also mentioned none of the teens was wearing a seatbelt, and there was proof Myers was driving as well fast.

A court date will be scheduled later for Myers, who has no listed phone quantity. It was not immediately clear if he had an attorney.

Oregon Crashed Brought on by Man Holding Breath Tunnel

A 19-year-old man brought on a 3-auto crash when he fainted whilst holding his breath as he drove via a tunnel northwest of Portland, Oregon State Police stated.

Daniel J. Calhon, of Snohomish, Washington, told investigators he fainted Sunday afternoon even though holding his breath in the Highway 26 tunnel near the community of Manning, according to a news release. His car, a 1990 Toyota Camry, drifted across the centerline and crashed head-on with a Ford Explorer.

Each autos struck the tunnel walls before a pickup hit the Camry.

Calhon and his passenger, 19-year-old Bradley Meyring, of Edmonds, Washington, suffered non-life-threatening injuries, as did the 2 men and women in the Explorer: Thomas Hatch Jr., 67, and Candace Hatch, 61, from Astoria. All 4 had been taken to hospitals.

The 2 people in the pickup have been not hurt.

Calhon was cited for reckless driving, 3 counts of reckless endangerment and 4th-degree assault in Washington County Circuit Court. It was not clear if he had a lawyer.

State Police Lt. Gregg Hastings said Monday he’s not positive why Calhon was holding his breath, but some individuals hold their breaths in tunnels as portion of a game or superstition.
