Toyota SA recognized in Customer Service Excellence Awards




Toyota South Africa Motors (TSAM) was awarded the 2014 Outstanding Customer Service Award for the annual Customer Service Excellence Awards (CSEA) by Toyota Motor Corporation. TSAM and its staff were commended for their dedicated efforts and determination towards excellent customer service.


The award is based on an annual evaluation of operations and activities in Toyota Customer Service Departments around the world.


The 2014 result is an improvement on the previous year’;s result and the second consecutive year TSAM attained the Gold award.


Toyota South Africa Motors Vice President of Customer Service John Oliver comments on the team’;s performance: “In our continuous quest towards ‘Always better Cars’; and ‘Always better service’; to ultimately create customer smiles, this award really means a lot to the organisation as it shows our efforts are being recognised at a global level. It’;s also a marked improvement on previous years, which is immensely pleasing.”


The main objective of the CSEA programme is to enhance the integrity of Customer Service activities and bring about quality enhancement in all deliverables. The programme covers 6 key evaluation metrics.


Furthermore, the CSEA supports the philosophy of the Toyota Customer Service Philosophy: “Accuracy + Caring = Trust”, to ensure customer expectations are exceeded through the sincere and efficient handling of their concerns.


“The Customer Service department is confidently striving to improve quality, customer service and the overall customer experience. Together with our dealerships, there are various plans in place to support our goals for 2015 and beyond. We are all committed to the strategies and will continue to work towards those customer smiles,” adds Oliver.

Innovation Excellence Awards – 2015




In this report we highlight 6 outstanding products from the banking, superannuation, and insurance coverage sectors that show correct innovation in their fields. These merchandise deserve due recognition for the creative way in which they benefit customers.

INNOVATION CONTINUES TO AMAZE


Australians look to have innovation constructed into their genome, with creative inventions or reinventions illuminating all fields. The banking and insurance sector is no different. Some of the merchandise appearing each year are really remarkable and will make life a lot easier and much more convenient for you, the end user.


CANSTAR is so impressed by the depth of innovation inside our industry that we highlight the greatest each and every year. This time about, we chose 6 exciting innovations from the 44 submissions we received.


How do we define a item as innovative? Firstly, we really feel a solution or service should be a first in the market place – even probably open up a new industry. Then we assess both the degree of innovation and the general impact the item could have.
In terms of degree, we think about no matter whether there are any other comparable goods obtainable, techniques in which the
product differs from the current, no matter whether it is a “first” in Australia and whether or not it opens up any new markets. We also assess the possible significance of impacts to the existing market in terms of competition. And, of course, one thing that is genuinely innovative can not help but have that “wow” aspect. FIA Institute Young Driver Excellence Academy Africa Selection 2015 gets underway




The FIA Institute Young Driver Excellence Academy Africa Selection for 2015 is currently taking place at Amanzingwe Conference Centre and the Gerotek Vehicle Testing Facility near Broederstroom west of Pretoria.


18 Participants aged between 16 and 25 from 12 countries including 2 from South Africa have gathered for a 3 day regional test and training selection event hosted by MSA.


After a welcome and introduction session on Sunday during which the participants introduced themselves and were given a preview of what lay ahead in the next 3 days, they started the exercise at Gerotek this morning.


An overall winner will be announced on Wednesday.
