An unlicensed commercial entity has been ordered by Minnesota commerce regulators to spend $ 191,185 in civil penalties for generating many fraudulent and unlicensed auto insurance coverage solicitations to buyers in that state.
The Minnesota Department of Commerce imposed the fine on Variable Marketing, a Texas LLC, which does organization under the name Instant Insurance Advertising.

Variable Marketing acts a “lead generator” utilizing automatic dialing announcing devices (robo-calls) to connect shoppers with a get in touch with center, which then connects the customer to an insurance agent licensed in the consumer’s state, the department stated.
It is alleged that Variable Advertising and marketing robo-named 38,237 Minnesota residents in an try to sell insurance coverage.
Regulators also assert that in addition to engaging in unlicensed activity, the communications to Minnesota consumers regarding the insurance coverage policies have been false and misleading because the organization represented themselves as acting on behalf of a government agency.
