On Tuesday 3 March 2015, members from the Soweto Flying Squad, Johannesburg SAPS Air Wing, Tracker and the Johannesburg Metro Police bust a chop shop in Soweto.
The success was achieved after a tracking signal on a stolen Toyota Corolla was followed; the vehicle had been stolen in Pimville, Soweto on 26 February 2015.
5 suspects were arrested and an additional 12 vehicles were identified and recovered.
