At long final, here’s your 1st look at Furious 7, the late Paul Walker’s final acting function and the newest installment of the Quick & Furious franchise, which shows no signs of stopping. With no additional ado, the extended-awaited trailer:

Haters gonna hate, but the Rapidly & Furious saga has lasted 13 years (!) due to the fact it has mastered the formula. The vehicles are cool, the stunts thrilling, the action relentless, the stories are enjoyable, and the cast of characters is a rogue’s gallery we’ve gotten to know and adore. I’ve said this ahead of, but the FF franchise has an all-crucial ingredient that cannot be overrated: charm.

If you believe success is as simple as assembling a bunch of cool vehicles, going rapidly, and blowing stuff up, you are wrong. See Need to have For Speed, which, regardless of amazing stun2rk and a excellent lead actor in Aaron Paul, is a terrible film crippled by a trainwreck of a screenplay and characters that are not possible to care about. NFS tried to ape the FF recipe, and it failed spectacularly.

James Wan (Saw, Insidious, The Conjuring) requires the Furious 7 directorial reins from Justin Lin, who stepped in at Tokyo Drift and ran the show through Quickly & Furious 6, creating a cohesive film universe, à la Marvel, in the approach. Furious 7 opens nationwide in April. I’ll see ya at the concession stand.
