Fiat Chrysler Automobiles announced today that it will recall a lot more than 250,000 Dodge Ram 1500 pickups in the U.S. for a issue that can trigger the rear axle to lock up at speed. The concern is restricted to model year 2005 trucks built amongst January 2004 and August 2005.The problem stems from a rear-axle pinion nut that can function its way loose, potentially causing the rear axle to lock up without having warning.
