2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA250: Anti-Theft Protection Gremlins
Could 15, 2014
I began up our extended-term 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA250 the other day, plugged in my telephone to charge it, and when I looked up I saw on the car’;s central screen: “Anti-theft protection activated. Service necessary.”
Oh, actually?
This warning apparently applied only to the multimedia screen, as the automobile ran and drove as regular. Nevertheless, I had no access to any of the controls for which this screen provides the interface: radio, navigation, and so forth.
Turning it off and on again turned up the identical outcome. A essential cycle did the trick, returning it to its usual self, and the glitch hasn’;t returned in the meantime.
